My First Blog!

No matter how nice Tennessee is, I am missing Kansas.... terribly.  I look up to see sky, and instead I see mountains.  The clouds don't even look right, they roll over the mountains into strange wispy forms.  There are crazy weird people on just about every street wandering around looking homeless, and the streets are never-ending potholes!  I miss my nice clean, litter-free, fresh air Kansas.  And I miss my nice Kansas friends...so much.
Wedding planning has been fun and exciting and keeps me going since I don't have a job.  Some of Ethan's family and friends make time for me and love to hang out.  But then there are the ones who make it quite clear they are totally caught up in themselves and could care less about you.  Moving always sucks because you can't find anything even though your boxes were thoroughly labeled! ("more kitchen stuff", "endless kitchen stuff". ;) ) I am finally moving into the house where Ethan and I will be living this weekend so hopefully things will start to get unpacked.  That will be so nice.
Yesterday, I spent the entire day with Alanna helping her get her new very-first-car all government approved and washed.  She is so excited!  The only trouble is it is a manual and she doesn't know how to drive a manual.  The other trouble is, she thinks I am a pro at manual while I am not.  So, tomorrow, I will be 'teaching' her to drive in the cemetery (where we can't kill anybody) while learning myself! LOL Hopefully I'll get documentation of this experiment.
Thanks Tiffany for starting up my blog, I miss you so much!

Dear Josie...

Dear Josie,

I miss you. Kansas misses you. So I've taken the liberty of starting this blog for you so I can know what's going on in your life as you start your new adventure as a wife and Tennessee native. This means that you'll have to start taking pictures (Remember, your photographer B.F.F. is no longer there to document everything!) and writing about your daily goings-on, thoughts, and all the wonderful things God is doing in your life. It may seem tedious at times, but believe me, there are plenty of us who greatly miss you and care even about the mundane things in your life. So get to work, girl! I wanna hear about your life! Praying for you and wishing you many Kansas sunsets, dandelion puffs, starry nights, sunflowers, and golden fields.

Love Always,
Tiff

P.S. Can't wait to see you soon and explore the many wonders of Chattanooga!!!
